I. INTRODUCTION
The Pro-Coder program by Siliconvalley4u is an immersive, 24-week course designed to equip students with practical coding skills and experience working on real-world projects. Tailored for students aged 13 and up with prior knowledge in coding (Python, Java, or JavaScript), this program includes rigorous instruction, project development, and structured assessments. Graduates are eligible for internships where they can apply their skills on live projects.
II. COURSE OUTLINE
* Core programming pathways in JavaScript, Python, and Java
* Project-based learning with real customer projects (under NDA)
* Agile methodologies and teamwork skills, with regular reviews and timeline management
NOTE:
* Small class sizes (maximum 4 students) with a 1:2 instructor-to-student ratio
* Instructors with relevant product-building experience
II. COURSE LENGTH:
24 weeks in total, including:
* 20 weeks of intensive programming lessons and project work
* 2 weeks for the GATE graduation test
* 2 weeks for progress reviews and assessments
III. WEEKLY BREAKDOWN:
* 2-hour live virtual class per week
* Additional 2 hours of instructor support upon request for homework and questions
* Monthly progress reviews and feedback shared with parents and students
IV. ASSESSMENT AND GRADUATION
* Monthly reviews and a mid-term assessment
* GATE graduation test to qualify for certification and internship eligibility
* Retake option after 3 months if a student does not pass the GATE test (retesting fee applies)
